Our Shooting Stars Room is designed to prepare preschoolers aged 3 to 5 years for a smooth and confident transition to primary school. Through engaging, structured activities, we focus on developing key skills that set the foundation for future academic success.
We place a strong emphasis on communication and language, introducing early phonics to build essential literacy skills. Personal, social, and emotional development is nurtured through collaborative play, helping children develop confidence, independence, and resilience for their next learning adventure. Mathematics becomes exciting through interactive activities, including number bonds and problem-solving games that make learning fun and meaningful.
Our curriculum also enhances physical development, fine-tuning motor skills needed for writing and self-care. Understanding the world is enriched through hands-on exploration, fostering curiosity and critical thinking. Expressive arts and design encourage creativity through music, drama, and imaginative play, while literacy skills flourish with engaging stories, mark-making, and early writing experiences.
